Ed Parkinson, Painter

A winner of the PA Fish Commission coveted Trout Stamp Competition in 1998, Ed is a painter of landscape and water. His luminous, sensitive watercolors capture pristine views of the Delaware River and its surrounding countryside. An avid fly fisherman and wild mushroom picker, Ed spends countless hours within the landscapes he paints. In the studio, what he has absorbed "in the field" seeps into his paintings in subtle nuances of light, atmosphere, reflection, shadow and mood.
