Louis Pontone

Louis Pontone for over 40 years has made the American landscape and the natural world the principal subject matter of his paintings-capturing the sweep of a river valley or the intimate voice of a mountain stream.  Pontone paints with quick, confident strokes.  His technique involves altering and weaving the shapes and building up the textures.  He has taught painting for many years and is represented in many private, public, and corporate collections.
